District Director: Donna Thomas

Donna has been a member of Floral City Garden Club since 2006 and served as its treasurer for 5 years and president for one term – 2017-2019. She served as District V secretary that same term and as the Assistant District Director 2019-2021. She is serving as Chair of Speakers and Programs for FFGC and the Programs Chair for the 2022 convention. She volunteers with Camp Wekiva and S.E.E.K.
Her interests are traveling, football, reading, cooking, crafts and sewing, golfing, and hanging out with her friends and family. She is involved in the Floral City Heritage Council and serves on the Board of Directors for the Inverness Golf and Country Club.
Donna has been married to husband Gary for 36 years; has two daughters and four grandkids and her home is ruled by their cat – Beau, who is convinced that we are his staff.
Assistant District Director: Carol Stevens

Carol joined the Lake City Garden Club during the Spring of 2015 after retiring from teaching school for 38 years. She has served as First Vice President and is currently finishing her third year as President of the Lake City Garden Club. She has enjoyed meeting the members and increasing her knowledge of gardening and plants while being a member of the Garden Club.
Carol and her husband, Alex, are celebrating 49 years of marriage this year. She has two sons and a grandson and a granddaughter.
She enjoys traveling in their RV, scrapbooking, gardening, and visiting her family’s mountain cabin.
Carol is looking forward to getting to know the many knowledgeable Garden Club members in District V and the new adventures that being District V Assistant Director will bring to her and her club.
Treasurer: Susie Berryhill

Susie Berryhill is currently FFGC District V Treasurer, and has been so for the past six years.
She joined Pioneer Garden Club in 2007 after retiring in 2006 as Administrator and Financial Officer at Chariot Eagle, Inc. She was Treasurer for Pioneer Garden Club for nine years and has been President of Morning Glory Circle as well as many other committee chairs. Susie became an accredited Flower Show Judge in 2013. She enjoys gardening, floral design, interior design, the beach, music, reading and yoga. She belongs to a local P.E.O. Chapter and is active in her church – First United Methodist Church of Ocala.
Susie grew up in Brandon, FL and moved to Ocala in 1974. She has been married to Michael for 39 years and has three adult children, one of who is Procurement Director of the Botanical Gardens at Smith College in Massachusetts. She has four wonderful grandchildren who all love gardening, flowers and nature! Susie and Michael have been adopted by two cool kitties, Lucy and Lily.
